Vietnam
Veterans of America is the leading organization in the U.S. devoted mainly to
the needs of Vietnam Era Veterans. We are leaders in the fight to aquire a full
accounting of our past and present POW/MIAs and work to influence congress to
make or continue laws that will improve the lives of all veterans and military
members and their families. The motto of the VVA is: "Never again shall one
generation of veterans abandon another". To this end, the VVA is determined to
remain influential at our Nation's capital, in order to help affect the future
of all veterans.
Membership
is open to U.S. armed forces veterans who served on active duty (for other than
training purposes) in the Republic of Vietnam between February 28, 1961 and May
7, 1975, or in any duty loction between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975.
